ON THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS OF KASE BANK CENTERCREDIT JSC WAS AWARDED WITH DIPLOMA "FOR STRIVING TO CLARITY"

/KASE, August 27, 07/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) informs that on the annual general meeting of shareholders of KASE which was held on August 23, 2007, with diploma "For striving to clarity" by results of year 2007 was awarded Bank Centercredit JSC (Almaty), being the listing company of "A" category. The mentioned diplomate was concerned to be such by decision of Board of KASE dated July 13, 2007 in accordance with Rules of annual awarding of listing companies, stated by decision of Board dated June 9, 2005 # 75/4. KASE notes that according to named Rules to annual awarding are subjected two issuers of securities in each of next groups: - Listing companies of "A" category - financial organization; - Listing companies of "A" category - non-financial organizations; - Listing companies of "B" category. However, due to not enough quality of opening the information from the side of initiators of access (what, by opinion of KASE, reflects the absence in the country of formed traditions of informational clarity, weak information culture of Kazakhstan issuers of securities, improper control of leaders of listing companies over the work of their subdivisions and employees, responsible for provision of information on KASE) Board of KASE this year decided to limit with awarding of only one listing company - Bank CenterCredit JSC.
