/KASE, June 10, 13/ – On June 8, 2013, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) held in
Almaty in the new building of Kazakhstan Institute for Management, Economy and
Prognosis, one-day event "Open Day of Kazakhstan Stock Market" that includes
series of quick workshops on Kazakhstan Stock Market for potential and existing
retail investors.
Apart from KASE Information agency of financial markets IRBIS LLP, Seven Rivers
Capital JSC, Halyk Finance JSC, Subsidiary Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan, took an
active part in the event. The event was conducted with support from CAIFC
INVESTMENT GROUP, Kazakhstan National Bank's Committee on Protection of
Financial Service Consumers' rights, Kazkommerts Securities (Subsidiary of
Kazkommertsbank), Academy of Regional Financial Center of Almaty, ASYL-INVEST
JSC and Centras Securities JSC. Information partners of the event were news
portals Tengrinews, Kursiv.kz and Millioner.kz, as well as Kazakhstan
Press-Club, official site of program "People's IPO" www.halyk-ipo.kz, analytical
magazine "Kazakhstan's securities market".
The event provided place for booths of professional participants of Kazakhstan's
market, hosted presentations, lectures and interactive games on exchange
trading in financial instruments in Kazakhstan, as well workshops on practical
investing.
Around 300 people attended.
Participation was free of charge. The auditoriums and fair hall were full
throughout the day. According to participants, the campaign woke much interest
and was useful from the practical point of view.
