/KASE, April 18, 14/ – By shares trading results on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE) on April 18, 2014, KASE index increased by 0.67 points (0.06 %)
from 1,045.75 to 1,046.42.
The first deal fixed the index at 1,044.71. During the trades the maximum value
made up 1,054.02, the minimum – 1,043.47.
Volume of deals in shares included in the KASE index representative list, on
April 18 against the previous trading day in tenge increased by 16.3 % and
made up KZT30.7 mln (USD168.8 th.).

The last KASE Index value on any day is the last index value fixed on
KASE on this day.
The KASE Index shows a change in prices of the index representative
list stocks for calculation of the index, with account to capitalization of
such issuers and a number of such stocks in free float. One stock weight
must not exceed 15 %. The KASE Index is calculated during a trading day
as deals in the representative list stocks are concluded. If during a trading
day no deals are made in a representative list stock, then for purposes of
such calculation results of the last resultant trade session are used.
