/KASE, June 3, 14/ – The Committee on Indexes and Securities Valuation of
Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has composed a new representative list of
indexes KASE_BY, KASE_BP, KASE_BC (hereinafter – the representative list of
KASE_B* indexes) in accordance with changes and additions to KASE internal
document "Methodology of Stock Market Indices Calculation" (hereinafter – the
amendments) which were approved following a decision of KASE Management Board of
May 21, 2014, effective as of June 3, 2014.
As of the mentioned date criteria of inclusion of corporate bonds in the
representative list and presence in it are as follows:
1) bonds must be issued in accordance with the legislation of Kazakhstan and
have a rating not lower than "BB-" on scale of Standard & Poor's, and/or
Fitch, and/or Rating agency "KZ-rating", or not lower than "Ba3" on scale of
agency Moody's, or not lower than "ВВ3" on scale of Rating agency of
Regional Financial Center of Almaty, or not lower than "A" on scale of
Rating agency Expert RA Kazakhstan;
2) bonds must have fixed (non-indexed) face value;
3) bonds must be quoted in KASE trading system in "net" prices (not taking
into account the accrued but unpaid interest), and regular trades in them
must be opened in this system;
4) the bonds issuer must not have unsettled debts on coupon payments and/or
debt principal on bonds he issued.
Based on the mentioned criteria the Indexes division of KASE's department for
Information and Analysis the following representative list of indexes KASE_B*
has been drawn up:

titles. The new list inherited bonds of 24 titles from the previous list.
