National atomic company Kazatomprom implemented five investment projects in 2010–2013

/KASE, June 5, 14/ – National atomic company "Kazatomprom" JSC (Astana), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press-release of June 5, 2014: quote Today, June 5, CEO of Kazatomprom Vladimir Shkolnik took part in a meeting regarding implementation of investment projects of Samruk-Kazyna Group of companies chaired by O. Shokeev. As the head of the national atomic company said, from 2010 to 2013 NAC Kazatomprom launched projects worth a total of USD896.3 mln. The largest investment project of the group is acquisition by the joint Kazakh-Russian enterprise "Uranium enrichment plant" of 25% +1 share of open joint-stock company "Ural electrochemical combine". This deal completed in 2013 became an important stage in implementation of Kazatomprom's strategic goals on business diversification by way of participating in a more complex processing of nuclear fuel. Already in 2013 the first income was received from delivery of enriched uranium to consumers.
