/KASE, August 4, 14/ – Subsidiary Bank "Sberbank of Russia" JSC (Almaty), whose
bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), today provided
KASE with the following press-release:

The Bank financed projects of small and medium-sized enterprises for the amount
of 6 billion tenge through the early completion of the development of funds
received from the "Damu" Entrepreneurship Development Fund as part of the
program of lending to small and medium-sized enterprises in the manufacturing
sector. These funds have been allocated from the National Fund of the Republic
of Kazakhstan in the amount of 100 billion tenge and are the first tranche of 1
trillion tenge designed for the development of the national economy.
Under this program, the Bank financed 22 projects of small and medium-sized
enterprises in the manufacturing industry, including 9 projects of the food
industry for the amount of 1.6 billion tenge. Entrepreneurs were able to get a
soft loan at 6% rate for the period of up to 10 years, and to refinance
existing loans.
