/KASE, September 24, 14/ – BTA Bank JSC (Almaty, hereinafter – the Bank), whose
securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has
provided KASE with a copy of a letter from the National Bank of the Republic of
Kazakhstan (National Bank) dated September 10, 2014 on approval of the report on
results of offering of the bank's shares.
According to the mentioned document:
- National Bank approved the report on results of placement of the Bank's shares
for the period from February 2 to August 1, 2014;
- the issue was divided in 641,500,688,955 ordinary shares and 100,000 preferred
shares convertible into ordinary shares;
- the issue of the Bank's shares was entered in the state registry of serial
securities under No. А3492;
- the bank's shares were not offered in the period under review; as of August 1,
2014 641,496,019,873 ordinary shares of the Bank were placed; its share
capital equaled to KZT1,367,817,967,816.00.
