/KASE, November 21, 14/ – On November 19, 2014 during a meeting of the 20th
General Assembly of the Federation of Euro-Asian Exchanges (FEAS) in Zagreb
(Croatian Republic) President of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) Maksat
Kabashev was appointed the chair of the Working Committee of FEAS. This is an
important event for KASE which confirms KASE's strengthening status in the
global exchange community, along with the full membership in the World
Federation of Exchanges (WFE).
KASE is a member of FEAS since 1997 and actively takes part in working groups
and events of the federation.
The chairmanship of FEAS Working Committee will allows KASE to take active
part and influence processes of increasing business cooperation between
exchanges of the Eurasian region – members of FEAS, to be updated on new
global trends, ideas, opinions and approaches to the exchange activities, to
continue asserting KASE as internationally recognized exchange and key
infrastructural institute of financial markets in Central Asia.
