securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has

Today in Moscow was held the 1 Meeting of Far Eastern Europe and Central
Asia Regional Member Council (hereinafter - the 'Council') of UnionPay
International (hereinafter - the 'UnionPay or UPI'). The Council was created as
a collegial body where UnionPay International attracts partners for joint
solution of problems for boosting payment system business in regional
countries.
Ms. Umut Shayakhmetova, Chairperson of the Management Board of JSC Halyk
Bank (hereinafter - the 'Bank') has been elected for Chairperson. The
participants of the Council have noted Halyk Bank's contribution to development
of payment system business, when selecting the Chairperson - Ms. Umut
Shayakhmetova is a councilor of the International Member Council of UnionPay
International, representing the region of Far Eastern Europe and Central Asia,
since November 2012. Halyk Bank - the only financial institution being member
of the International Member Council of UnionPay International from this
region.
