/KASE, February 15, 2017/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE or Exchange)
announces that on February 15, 2017 KASE awarded its members that showed
the best performance in 2017 in the following nominations:
"Best underwriter":
- Freedom Finance – equity market;
- Kazkommerts Securities (subsidiary of Qazkom) – corporate debt market.
"Market leader":
- Freedom Finance – equity market;
- BCC Invest (subsidiary of Bank CenterCredit) – corporate debt market;
- Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan – government securities.
"Best Market Maker":
- Freedom Finance – equity market;
- BCC Invest (subsidiary of Bank CenterCredit) and Halyk Finance (subsidiary
of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan) – corporate debt market;
"For significant contribution in attracting investors" – Freedom Finance.
The winners were determined by the KASE Expert Committee set up in order to
determine best performing members of KASE in 2016.
The Expert Committee members are:
1) N. Khoroshevskaya (Expert Committee Chairwoman), Deputy Chairwoman
of KASE Management Board;
2) I. Sabitov, Deputy Chairman of KASE Management Board;
3) K. Turmagambetov, KASE Management Board member, Managing
Director for Business Development;
4) Y. Mazhekenov, KASE Trading Department Director;
5) G. Tsalyuk, KASE Listing Department Director;
6) V. Litvinov, Head of KASE Monitoring Department;
7) A. Kaligazin, Head of Issuer and Investor Relations Unit.
