KazMunaiGas Exploration Production announces results of EGM of shareholders held on February 14, 2017

/KASE, February 17, 2017/ – KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (Astana), whose shares are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has informed KASE of the following: quote JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration & Production ("KMG EP" or "Company") held an extraordinary general meeting of its shareholders ("EGM") on 14 February 2017. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the proposal to increase the fees paid to the Independent Directors ("INEDs") of the Company. This proposal had been recommended to shareholders by the unanimous vote of the Board of Directors of the Company. The voting results at the EGM were as follows: Deutsche Bank – "In favour" – 8,324,820 ordinary shares, “Against” 3,343,358 ordinary shares, "Abstained" – 14,724 ordinary shares.
