/KASE, June 22, 2017/ – Delta Bank (Almaty), whose securities are officially
listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with an information
statement saying that "on June 21, 2017 the bank received a resolution of the
National Bank of Republic of Kazakhstan on suspension of its license for banking
and other transactions and execution of activities on the securities market,
issued to Delta Bank, with regard to accepting deposits, opening individual and
corporate bank accounts".

Below is the press release of the National Bank "On suspending Delta Bank's
license for accepting deposits of individuals and legal entities, opening of
bank accounts of individuals and legal entities" dated June 21, 2017:

Following a resolution No. 103 of the National Bank of Republic of Kazakhstan
dated June 19, 2017, from June 21, 2017 the validity of Delta Bank's (the Bank)
license for accepting deposits of individuals and legal entities, opening of
bank accounts of individuals and legal entities was suspended through August 3,
2017.
This decision was taken by the National Bank as part of surveillance response
to some violations by the Bank of requirements of the banking regulations and
need for improvement of internal control systems for reasons provided for in
sub-items в) and г) of item 1 of article 48 of Kazakhstan's Act "On Banks and
Banking Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan" for systematic (three or more
times within twelve consecutive months) undue fulfillment of contractual
obligations on payment and transfer transactions and systematic (three or more
times within twelve consecutive months) violation of prudential norms and (or)
other mandatory norms and limits.
The license was suspended with regard to attracting new deposits and opening
of new bank accounts of individuals and legal entities and doesn't relate to
service of current deposits and clients of the Bank.
As of June 1, 2017 the total amount of accepted deposits of individuals of Delta
Bank is KZT0.3 bn, deposits of legal entities make up KZT87.9 bn. The share of
the Bank's deposit portfolio is 0.5% of the total volume of deposits of the
banking system.
