Subsidiary Bank Sberbank of Russia finances private daycare network in North Kazakhstan region

/KASE, July 10, 2017/ – Subsidiary Bank Sberbank of Russia (Almaty), whose
bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided
KASE with the following press release:

Sberbank has allocated KZT 250 million for purchase of real estate and
reconstruction of one of the buildings of Ashyk Aspan kindergarten network. In
addition, the kindergarten network received state support in the form of
subsidies from DAMU Fund.
"The essentials of education of each person are laid in early childhood,
therefore support of such business initiatives has a priority value for us.
Taking into account the unique business model of our new partner, Ashyk Aspan
kindergarten network, it is safe to say that the future of children is in safe
hands", Yeldar Tenizbayev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of SB
Sberbank JSC for Corporate Business, notes.
Today, more than 600 children at the ages from 3 to 6 years are trained in Ashyk
Aspan kindergarten network. Financing by Sberbank will allow covering a greater
number of children of preschool education in the North Kazakhstan region.
"Upbrining of future generation is a strategic direction for any state. Our
children are our future, that is why we try to instill in pupils love of the
country, labor, respect for traditions, sports and art from the very early age.
With the support of Sberbank and DAMU Fund it is planned to open another
kindergarten and reconstruct the building of the former kindergarten Raduga.
Thanks to this transaction, 200 more children in Petropavlovsk will be able to
