Development Bank of Kazakhstan provides credit facility to help KazTransGas Aimak develop gas distribution in ten village communities of Aktobe region

/KASE, October 11, 2017/ – Development Bank of Kazakhstan (Astana), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press release: quote Development Bank of Kazakhstan (subsidiary of National managing holding Baiterek, hereinafter – Bank, DBK) has provided a credit facility to KazTransGas Aimak that develops and modernizes its gas distribution network in ten village communities (Komsomol, Taldysai, Enbek, Altyndy, Kosistek, Akkudyk, Yrgyz, Uyil, Bogoslovka, Zhaisan) of Aktobe region (hereinafter – the Project). The Project's total cost amounts to KZT21.772 bn. DBK provided a KZT13.023 loan with a term of 10 years. The Project provides for the construction of 477.4 km of gas pipelines, as well as modernization of 31.4 km of existing gas pipelines and two automated gas distribution facilities in Aktobe and Kandyagash. As a result of the Project implementation, more than 30,000 residents of the region are supposed to be provided with natural gas. At the same time the total volume of gas transportation over new and updated gas distribution networks is going to be 1.493 bn m3/year.
