In September number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on KASE increased by 4 %

/KASE, October 19, 2017/ – In September 2017 the number of individual accounts involved in transactions in shares on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), increased by 4 % as compared to the previous month. While the percentage of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms increased to 61.5 % from 51.8 % in August 2017. As of the end of September at Central Securities Depository (hereinafter – CSD) there were 108,886 personal accounts opened by individuals, which is by 402 accounts less than at the end of the previous month, and by 4,006 accounts more than at the beginning of 2017.
