In accordance with the Framework Agreement between the Government of the
Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on some
issues of cooperation in the energy sector, signed on September 16, 2017, the
transportation of Russian crude oil by the system of trunk oil pipelines "Omsk –
Pavlodar – Shymkent – oil loading station Shagyr (transshipment to rail tank
cars)" of "KazTransOil" JSC has started on November 16, 2017.
On November 16, 2017, at the acceptance-delivery point of crude oil on the
border of the Russian Federation with the Republic of Kazakhstan the first
batch of Russian crude oil, which is to be transported via the territory of the
Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, was pumped into the
system of trunk oil pipelines of "KazTransOil" JSC.
