/KASE, July 20, 05/ - Yesterday Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) issued
a message saying that on July 19, 2005 "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda"
newspaper had published law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About changes
and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on
securities market and joint-stock companies" dated July 8, 2005 (Law).
According to the article 2 of the Law it was put into force from the day of
publishing, excluding norm, regarding elimination from Kazakhstan
legislation notion of "national joint-stock company" and being put into force
from January 1, 2006.
As it's followed from the information placed in the Reference legal system
"Lawyer" (letter of the Committee of information and archives of the Ministry
of culture, information and sport of Kazakhstan dated April 19 of 2005 #01-
24/796), following editions have won the right to publish officially
legislative acts for year 2005 - "Resmi gazet" (in Kazakh) and "Juridical
newspaper" (in Russian).
According to paragraph 4 of the article 30 of Kazakhstan law "About
normative legal acts" "unofficial publishing of normative legal acts is allowed
only after their official publishing".
So, KASE assumes that the Law (excluding the above-mentioned) will take
effect since the day of its official publishing in "Resmi gazet" and "Juridical
newspaper".
