/KASE, July 20, 05/ - Yesterday Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) issued a message saying that on July 19, 2005 "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda" newspaper had published law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About changes and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on securities market and joint-stock companies" dated July 8, 2005 (Law). According to the article 2 of the Law it was put into force from the day of publishing, excluding norm, regarding elimination from Kazakhstan legislation notion of "national joint-stock company" and being put into force from January 1, 2006. As it's followed from the information placed in the Reference legal system "Lawyer" (letter of the Committee of information and archives of the Ministry of culture, information and sport of Kazakhstan dated April 19 of 2005 #01- 24/796), following editions have won the right to publish officially legislative acts for year 2005 - "Resmi gazet" (in Kazakh) and "Juridical newspaper" (in Russian). According to paragraph 4 of the article 30 of Kazakhstan law "About normative legal acts" "unofficial publishing of normative legal acts is allowed only after their official publishing". So, KASE assumes that the Law (excluding the above-mentioned) will take effect since the day of its official publishing in "Resmi gazet" and "Juridical newspaper". Text of the Law is available at http://www.kase.kz/mix/law_190705.pdf [2005-07-20]
