Volume of industrial production decreased by 0.4% in the UK in January 2010
/IRBIS, March 10, 2010/ - The volume of industrial production in the UK in
January 2010 decreased by 0.4% compared to the previous month. The data
released today the National Bureau of Statistics of the country.

The reduction of this indicator was the most significant since August last year.
In comparison with January 2009 the volume of industrial production for January
2010 decreased by 1.5%. In December 2009, industrial output in the UK, on
specified data, rose by 0.5% in monthly terms (coinciding with the preliminary
data) and annual - fell by 3.7% (previously reported decline of 3.6% ).
