/KASE, April 9, 12/ - Eurasian Bank (Almaty), whose securities are officially listed at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with a copy of a letter from the Committee on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan (FSC NBK) dated March 20, 2012, saying that the FSC NBK "taking into account the March 15, 2012 notice #54-002/6339 of non-placement of the second issue of bonds issued under the first bond programme of JSC "Eurasian Bank", takes note of non-placement of the said bonds during the period from September 1, 2011 to February 29, 2012".

According to the FSC NBK, as of March 1, 2012, 17,201,800 of the said bonds remained unplaced.

The mentioned bonds (KZP02Y15C617, KZ2C00001188, EUBNb5; KZT100, KZT10.0 bn, September 1, 2008 - September 1, 2023; semi-annual coupon indexed at inflation rate, 9.40 % APR in the current coupon period; 30/360) are on KASE official list, in the Rated Debt Securities category.
