/KASE, February 9, 11/ - VITA (Almaty), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has by an official letter dated February 8, 2011 informed KASE, in response to its inquiry, of the following:

Herewith we confirm that by a decision of the Special inter-district economic court of Almaty, VITA has been declared insolvent. The court's decision was taken on January 26, 2011 and shall be effective within 15 days of handing in of a copy of the decision. Trustees of VITA received a copy of the decision on February 3, 2011, meaning that the court's decision has not become effective yet.

This decision will be appealed at a higher authority by February 18, 2011.
