/KASE, April 23m, 12/ - JSC "National Atomic Company "Kazatomprom" (Astana), whose bonds are officially listed at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press-release of April 23, 2012:

JSC "NAC "Kazatomprom" in the 1st quarter 2012 completed the production program and reached the supposed level of production figures. Agreement liabilities on all contracts were fulfilled completely.

Based on Y2012 Q1 results, the volume of uranium extraction in the Republic of Kazakhstan made up 4,666 tons, overriding by 5% last year's figures.

JSC "NAC "Kazatomprom", with shares in subsidiaries and affiliates taken into account, extracted 2,656 tons of uranium within 3 months of 2012, which is by 4% higher than in 1st quarter 2011.

The Company's consolidated income made up KZT51 bn.
