/KASE, May 7, 12/ - JSC "EKOTON" (Astana), whose securities are officially listed at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has by an official letter informed KASE of the following:

JSC "Ekoton+" communicates that it repaid a USD6 m loan from the state Development Bank of Kazakhstan" (DBK). The funding was provided for production of wall materials of cell concrete in Astana with a total value of USD12.76 m.

JSC "Ekoton+" has borrowed from DBK since 2003; in 2009 the Bank implemented measures for the purpose of supporting the Company in the crisis period. In particular, the interest rate was reduced and the repayment schedule was changed. However, the company managed to pay the loan back early.
