/KASE, May 11, 12/ - Eurasian Bank (Almaty), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with a copy of a letter from the Committee on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan (FSC NBK) dated May 3, 2012 saying that FSC NBK "having considered notice #54- 002/9650 of April 24, 2012 of non-placement of registered coupon subordinated unsecured bonds of the first issue issued under the second bond programme of Eurasian Bank, takes note of the fact that in the period from October 15, 2011 to April 14, 2012 the said bonds were not placed".

According to FSC NBK, 7,911,800 units of the said bonds were placed as of April 15, 2012.

The said bonds (KZP01Y15D252, KZ2C00001212, EUBNb8; KZT100, KZT15.0 bn, October 15, 2008 - October 15, 2023; floating semi-annual coupon, 9.80 % APR in the current coupon period; 30/360) are listed in the Rated Debt Securities category.
