/KASE, March 10, 10/ - By shares trading results on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE) on March 10, 2010, KASE index gained 20.68 points (1.15 %) from
1,802.65 to 1,823.33.
The first deal fixed index at 1,802.65. During trades the maximum value made up
1,823.33, the minimum - 1,796.97.
Volume of deals in shares, included to the index representative list, on March 10
against the previous trading day in tenge increased by1.9 times and made up
KZT152.3 m (USD1,033.8 th.).

The KASE Index shows a change in prices of the index representative list stocks
for calculation of the index, with account to capitalization of such issuers and
a number of such stocks in free float. One stock's weight must not exceed 15 %.
The KASE Index is calculated during a trading day as deals in the representative
list stocks are concluded. If during a trading day no deals are made in a
representative list stock, then for purposes of such calculation results of the
last resultant trade session are used.
